Resettlement programmes

We work closely with families resettled in Brighton & Hove under various resettlement schemes including the United Kingdom Resettlement Scheme and the Afghanistan Resettlement Schemes (ARAP and ACRS) on behalf of Brighton & Hove City Council.

We meet families on arrival, settle them into their new homes and schools, and provide integration assistance, dedicated casework, ESOL classes, welcome and information groups and employability support during their first two years in the UK.

Clients really develop sustained and trusting relationships with their Voices caseworkers and value the non-judgemental flexibility with which they are supported. The understanding and recognition of the barriers their particular situation presents with is also a relief as they do not have to constantly retell their story.
